Dear all,

UK-based media NGO, Panos London, is urgently looking for a suitable Spanish NGO to partner in the upcoming EC Call – 'Raising Public awareness of development issues and promoting development education in the European Union'.

It is looking to expand an existing EC-funded project currently running in Poland, Spain, Sweden and the UK –Linking Southern Journalists with European Media http://panos.org.uk/projects/linking-southern-journalists/. 

The aim of the project is to encourage more diverse reporting on international development topics by building long-term working relationships between journalists in developing countries and national/regional newspapers in European countries. 
This is being done initially through a commissioning process followed by face-to-face meetings, which have so far been supported and implemented by freelance media consultants in these European countries.

So far in through the project, working relationships have been built with the following national newspapers:
- Poland, with gazeta.pl:

For the next phase, we are looking to work with media NGO partners across Europe who 
1) have links with national media, particularly newspapers; 
2) who are both well-established and respected by both the media and development NGOs; and 
3), who have experience of fundraising for and running projects.
